WinExpo Georgia is a leading exhibition in the industry with years of continuous tradition that, for a long time, has given the best opportunities to Georgian wine producers to present their product on both local and international markets. Regardless of the crisis caused by the global pandemic, interest in Georgian wine is increasing each year, which in turn contributes to the scale and prominence of the exhibition.
WinExpo Georgia attracts around 4000 visitors every year, presents up to 100 different companies, and is determined to create a productive working environment. The exhibition has proven its importance within the industry for both local and international markets. WinExpo Georgia is a single exhibition in Georgia that, alongside exhibiting products such as packaging materials, fertilizers, viticulture and winemaking equipment, nurseries, glass, and accessories, presents services as well.
WinExpo Georgia is also the spot for those who want to taste the best wine and alcoholic beverages, meet winemakers, and learn about the news and innovations of the industry and the trends in its development.
Parallel to the exhibition, WinExpo Georgia has established the International Wine Award, which has been held for 16 years now and is a great contributor to the popularization of Georgia, both in the country and abroad. Winners of the contest are revealed by the Georgian and foreign Masters of Wine, sommeliers, and wine experts. The head of the competition is Tim Atkin, an award-winning British Master of Wine, broadcaster, and the author at Decanter and many other prestigious publications. The contest is conducted on the principle of blind tasting; the best Wines are selected in eight categories, and winners are awarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals.
